NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING SERVICES PRODUCT SERVICE CODE:

**S209– HOUSEKEEPING - LAUNDRY/DRYCLEANING NAICS CODE:** 812320 – DRYCLEANING AND LAUNDRY SERVICES (EXCEPT COIN-OPERATED) $8 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Dzilth-NA-O-Dith-Hle Health Center, 6 Road 7586, Bloomfield, NM 87413 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS This notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions.

This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition will sole source the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Service to Elite Laundry Company. The location is at the Dzilth-NA-O-Dith-Hle Health Center, 6 Road 7586, Bloomfield, NM 87413, which is considered a rural area.

The Government’s requirement is to have laundry and dry cleaning services as it has a direct impact on patient care. The vendor is the only organization uniquely qualified to provide the required laundry and dry cleaning services to Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competing proposals.

Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 812320 Drycleaning and Laundry Services (except Coin-Operated) $8. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.

This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.

If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
