## Description

In accordance with The FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), section 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection, the purpose of this announcement is to inform the industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to Noblis Inc, LS Technologies, LLC, and Veracity Engineering, LLC for up to 24 months if all options are exercised (a twelve-month option plus two six-month options).

Currently, nine major groups and programs within Communications, Infrastructure, and Network Programs (CINP) utilize Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure, and Communications Services (EPICS) to accomplish their mission-critical goals. All these programs provide mission-critical engineering, telecommunication, information management, and radio and voice communication services.

Any interruption to the support provided under the EPICS contracts would significantly affect the CINP's ability to provide telecommunications and other support to the FAA. The potential risks and impacts on the NAS if the sole source award is not implemented are significant.

This sole source award will mitigate these operational risks of service failures and prevent negative impacts on the NAS, which is vital to the CINP's near- and long-term strategic planning while allowing additional time to complete the competitive re-compete process. The continued efficient and effective operation of these programs is essential to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System (NAS) and the operation of the FAA. This announcement is for informational purposes only.

A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with preparing a response to this announcement. Any questions or comments about this announcement may be directed to the Contracting Officer, Maria J. Ashby, at maria.j.ashby @ faa.gov by 11:30 am EDT by August 7, 2024.
