The object of this sole source award is to require the purchase of parrot transmitters. The radio transmitters from Holohil have been use in the Puerto Rican Parrot Recovery Program since 2000. The importance of this transmitter is that the durability of the transmitters is resistant to the beak of parrots. Parrots preened each other, and casing from other companies have proven that they last least or get destroyed by parrots eventually. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities.
