## Description

The Department of Justice Criminal Division is required to ensure storage and media equipment that has hosted sensitive data is properly sanitized utilizing procedures that are compliant with IRS Media Sanitization Guidelines and NIST 800-88 standards prior to release and removal of equipment to external parties. Due to various interconnections, HPE as the original equipment manufacture is the only capable source to sanitize the media devices that will meet the standards and can be accomplished within the timeframe required.
