The school is in a remote location and other companies have been unable to overcome the logistical challenges of delivering Food and Dairy to this location. Historically, multiple attempts were given to remedy various issues and all attempts to remedy the situation resulted in temporary resolutions only. As such, the current vendor has been identified as the only vendor capable of ensuring the students are fed properly for the school year. The need is considered urgent and compelling in order to guarantee food security for the students as well as for the school to remain compliant with USDA requirements.
