## Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order for procurement of two (2) Life Technologies Corporation(also known as Applied Biosystems or its parent company, Thermo Fisher Scientific) VeritiPro Thermal Cyclers with a trade in option.

A formal combined synopsis/solicitation will not occur. All solicitation communication will occur directly with the proposed contractor.

This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13—Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12—Acquisition of Commercial Items.
