## Description

CommuniCare Technology, Inc., is the sole authorized provider for Pulsara United System (Pulsara) for the Cardiovasular Health and Interventional Radiology (CVHIR) Department at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Maryland this product . Market research indicated that the required items could only be procured from one company and a sole source determination was made by the Contracting Officer. Pulsara is a critical system and is urgently needed to support the CVHIR.

The above-mentioned equipment was developed for commercial marketplace, therefore, relevant technical data is not available for use in competing this requirement. CommuniCare Technology, Inc. is identified as a “Small Business" under NAICS code 511210. This is a Special Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. All of the following information is approximate and may be altered in the actual solicitation, if applicable.

No contract will be awarded from this Notice. Responses to this sources sought Notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Defense Health Agency is issuing this Special Notice as a means of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, “Market Research.”
