## Description

This is a RFI for market research purposes only. There is no guarantee a solicitation will result from this RFI. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Biological Technologies Office (BTO) develops capabilities that embrace the unique properties of biology and applies those features to revolutionize how the United States protects its Warfighters.

BTO is seeking a Facilitator to form a network of experts and thought leaders unified in a study group with the purpose of informing BTO’s mission to develop novel approaches to create and prevent surprise across the biological-related disciplines. BTO has three foundational areas that will be used as the basis for focus areas of initial study group efforts, these foundational areas are:

The Warfighter – efforts in this area address Warfighter needs from pre-deployment to deployment and recovery after return. The Warfighting Enterprise – in this area, BTO seeks to ensure the uninterrupted prosecution of warfighting in contested or denied environments by developing novel improvements to operational capabilities and utilization of resources in theater. Frontier Technologies – BTO seeks to leverage the emergence of artificial intelligence and machine learning to create data factories and AI-generated experimental data to speed development of solutions for the Warfighter and Warfighting Enterprise.
