## Description

The 35th Contracting Office at Misawa Air Base, Japan intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.501(a) and DAFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 3572, the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901). The associated NAICS code for this is 334290. The sole-source contract will be awarded to:

Viasat, (here by the proposed vendor) 6155 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, CA 92009-1699 United States.

**CAGE Code:** 47358 The proposed vendor is the only know vendor that offers the MOJO Next system. Not only is it the only vendor that has a product that meets the requirement and specification needs but it also meets the connectivity requirements to operate within the AF network. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Tuesday, August 27th, 2024. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Governments need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice.

Responses to this notice are to be sent to aiyana.scott.2@us.af.mil. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice
