## Description

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis to Four, Inc. The FAA has a requirement to procure a renewal of HCL Technologies, Inc.'s BigFix Compliance and Inventory 12-month License, Support and Services. The BigFix solution consists of a core infrastructure and agents installed on AIS servers and workstations.

The agents gather hardware, software, vulnerability, and configuration compliance information from these endpoints and sends the information to the core infrastructure. The FAA’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program receives this information for analysis and sends reports to Department of Transportation (DOT) for display in their CDM Dashboard.

The required licenses and its support are owned and developed by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), HCL and sold through their exclusive Federal Government distributer, Four, Inc, therefore, the FAA can only procure the renewal from the only available source, Four, Inc. this announcement is for informational purposes only. a competitve solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this annoucement. Any questions or comments about this announcement may be directed to the Contracting Officer, Paul Rosengrant, at Paul.R.Rosengrant@faa.gov, no late then March 28, 2024.
