## Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line, has a requirement for the purchase of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Escher Wyss, Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) Hubs, miscellaneous spare parts for hub overhaul, and the overhaul of hubs. These supplies and services are required for the 270’ WMEC Escher-Wyss, Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) Hubs (hubs).

The Coast Guard does not possess the proprietary technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/provisioning data, or special tools necessary to provide these supplies, or training. This information was not purchased at the time of the original acquisition and is proprietary to the OEM, Andritz Hydro.

It is the Government's belief that only NW Propeller Operations, in Lakewood, Washington, has the capability to provide the supplies and services due to the fact that they are the only U.S. based authorized parts distributor, and have primary access to the proprietary information required to complete OEM overhauls. However, potential sources can submit information demonstrating their capabilities to provide genuine OEM supplies and OEM authorized technical services. This information shall include, but is not limited to:

(1) Data that the required support and supplies have been satisfactorily provided to the OEM or the Government in the past; AND (2) a written letter, signed by the OEM, which verifies the interested party’s authority to supply OEM manufactured items and parts to the Government, and provide the necessary overhaul services. The Government does not intend to pay for any information that is submitted in response to this synopsis.

Inquiries/information received after the established deadline MAY NOT be considered for this acquisition. Submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.

At this time, the USCG does NOT have an estimated timeframe for release of the solicitation and this is NOT a request for proposals. Solicitation documents will only be made available on www.SAM.gov; no paper solicitation packages will be made available. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor SAM.gov for changes or amendments to this notice. The above information must be received no later than five (5) calendar days from the date this notice is published. Information received after this period may not be considered.
