The agreement will cover preventive maintenance, repair, and OEM-certified parts and service for the Analyzer, which is mission-critical to the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Diseases. Justification OEM Exclusivity: CTL is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the sole provider of maintenance, parts, and service for the S6MACRO-01-3743 Analyzer. Warranty and Certification: Only CTL can guarantee certified technicians, OEM parts, and factory-level warranty coverage. Compatibility and Performance: Service from third parties would void OEM certification and potentially compromise data integrity required for CDC’s research activities. Market Research: Market research confirmed no other vendors are authorized to provide maintenance for this model. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties who believe they can provide equivalent services may submit capability statements, which shall be considered solely for determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
