## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE This synopsis is for commercial supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5), a statute expressly authorizes or requires that the procurement be made through another executive agency or from a specified source, or the agency’s need is for a brand-name commercial product for authorized resale.

Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all capability statements received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered.

As a result of analyzing responses to this "Notice of Intent," the Government shall determine whether a competitive solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the "System for Award Management" (sam.gov) in order to be eligible for award. The Govt. will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this "Notice of Intent."

The 316th Contracting Squadron (316 CONS) intends to award a sole source contract to ADB Safegate, 700 Science Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43230, based on the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(5). This contract allows for the inspection and preventative maintenance of the Airfield Lighting System at Joint Base Andrews. See CO signed Justification and Approval form for details.

THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL Any offerors responding to this notice must provide evidence of capability to perform the above requirements. The appropriate NAICS Code for this acquisition is 488119, Other Airport Operations, with a size standard of $40 million.
