## Description

The Gamma Ray Energy Tracking Array instrument (GRETA) is nearing completion. This instrument represents over a decade of development and a significant investment of time and resources. Once completed, GRETA will be moved from the current location at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams at Michigan State University. Damage from a transportation mishap could be catastrophic to this project, and the Department of Energy has authorized acquisition of shipping insurance.

It is currently anticipated that GRETA will be packed and ready for transportation in the late-July to August timeframe. Please see the attached RFQ (v2) and Q&A documents for details and instructions.
