## Description

The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to award a bridge action by modifying current Task Order N0017320F2029, Research and Development Efforts for High Performance Computing, with Arcfield on a sole-source basis pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services with Satisfy Agency Requirements.

The purpose of this modification is to provide continuity of specialized Research, Development, Testing, & Evaluation (RDT&E) services to the Information Technology Division (ITD) located at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington D.C. This effort consists of comprehensive efforts that significantly improve end-to-end computer network performance over an entire network enterprise.

This covers all layers of the network stack and includes the displays, the Graphical User Interface (GUI) applications, the data, the storage, security, and the protocols, policies and directives that govern the enterprise. This extends from tactical edge, to High Performance Networking Center (HPC). The contract performance period will be extended for six (6) months for a revised and estimated period of performance of 01 December 2025 through 01 June 2026.
