## Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a sole source order to RLJ TOWER LEASING INC., 111 S Hall St, Montague, Texas, 76251-1506 for antenna space for the purpose of operating a transmitter antenna and other related equipment for the transmission and reception of radio signals in support of the IRS Criminal Investigation (IRS-CI), Dallas Field Office.

The purchase will be made using procurement procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. RLJ TOWER LEASING INC. operates a tower that will provide transmission and reception of radio signals in support of IRS-CI. The system provides optimum coverage in areas where investigations are conducted.

The system enables IRS agents to communicate directly with each other, as well as other federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in a secure environment. It also serves to provide IRS special agents with officer safety in the event of an emergency. The backbone of the system consists of a network of stand-alone repeaters that serve to broadcast radio transmissions over a wide area. This is not a request for competitive proposals.

Potential sources who believe they can provide the service listed above are invited to submit a capability package in writing to daniel.s.rapoport@irs.gov no later than 1:00 PM ET on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Please note: A SOLICITATION DOES NOT EXIST.

The Government will not cover any costs for any information or inquiry submitted as a result of this notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 532490. The small business size standard is $40M.
