## Description

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Contracting Department, intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to BrandSafway Services (CAGE: 52779), for the rental of HAKITEC Temporary Roofing System Components. The product needed by the agency is only available from one source and no other type of product will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. As explained in the attached Justification and Approval, there is only one contractor with the rights to provide the product. Quotatations are not being requested.
