The environmental services provided under this contract are primarily RCRA projects located at the Naval Activity Puerto Rico (NAPR) which is the former U.S. Naval Station Roosevelt Roads (NSRR) located in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. However, environmental restoration support may also be required at any Navy installation within the NAVFAC SE AOR. Sites may be contaminated with solvents, metals, acids, bases, reactives, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), pesticides and petroleum substances regulated by RCRA, Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and the Solid Waste Disposal Act (SWDA).
