This SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT is a Market Survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. There is no bid package or solicitation.

The purpose of this announcement is to identify capable and qualified Large and Small Businesses, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Businesses, SBA certified Hubzone Businesses (HUBZONE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), and/or Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB).

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC), Port Hueneme, CA is conducting a market survey of award a contract for the continued providing of solutions and services in the areas of explosive safety, blast effects analysis, and protective construction design to activities and agencies across the Navy and the Department of Defense (DoD).

The contract will be in support of the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) Explosion Effects and Consequence (EE&C) Division. This would be a follow-on to contract N39430-18-D-2031 (awarded to A-P-T Research, Inc. on 05/10/2018). Delivery orders will be issued as firm-fixed price. All work must be completed by US citizens and US owned companies. All contract work will be unclassified, with the highest classification being Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

In all cases, work must be performed in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and instructions. Firms should provide the approximate number of personnel that are available to perform the work required and the size status in comparison to the NAICS code. The applicable NAICS is 541330 – Engineering Services, Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons with a size standard of $47.0 million Response can be emailed to the contract specialist or by clicking on the link below.
