## Description

The Department of Labor, on behalf of the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP), intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order to First Databank Inc. (FDB), 500 E. 96th Street, Ste. 500, Indianapolis, IN 46240-3767, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)- Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization).

First Databank Inc. will provide the license needed for OWCP to access the Division of Federal Employees', Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation’s (DFELHWC’s) Central Bill processing data from FDB’s proprietary MedKnowledge Database for the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, Division of Administrative Operations located at 200 Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20210. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 513199 with the Size Standard of 1000 employees.

This notice of intent to award a Sole Source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. THERE WILL BE NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
