## Description

**1. NOTICE:** This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 561790, which has a corresponding SBA Size Standard of $9.0 Million.

The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice, if applicable, and that you identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code.

Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.

**2. Program Details:** The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to ensure that commercial hood and duct services are performed at Hill Air Force Base and Little Mountain Test Facility, in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation of such systems and prevent any potential grease fire from spreading past the cook-line into the hood and ductwork. There are currently 23 hood and duct systems in 14 buildings on Hill AFB and Little Mountain Test Facility.

The contemplated contract will be a 5-Year IDIQ with one year base and four one-year option periods.

Performance Requirements - Provide expertise in acceptable industrial cleaning of hoods, grease removal and collection devices, duct systems including horizontal and vertical ductwork from the filters up and throughout the entirety including the fan and blower hosing, fan, fan wheel, exhaust fan and other apparatus thereto at Hill AFB and Little Mountain Test Site. - Shall be able to meet stringent Period of Performance (PoP). - Shall be able to meet and obtain Air Force Security Clearance for access to Hill AFB. - Shall be able to provide experienced sub-contractor pool if needed. - Shall have working knowledge of current version of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 96, Chapter 11, (Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations), Air Force Instruction (AFI) 91-203, para 44.3.6.5, and all other local, state, and federal rules and procedures. - Shall be licensed and certified by the Office of Utah State Fire Marshal and have a minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience in commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning service
