This equipment is vital to ensuring structural integrity, safety, and overall fleet readiness. This requirement seeks the procurement of proprietary, OEM accessories from Instron to maintain and expand the system’s operational capabilities. The required components are for pre-existing, proprietary Instron testing system. Using non-genuine parts would compromise the system’s integrity, leading to inaccurate data, safety hazards for operators, and potential damage to the Government’s multi million-dollar equipment. These parts are not supported in the Federal Supply System but are only available through Illinois Tool Works INC. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
