The primary objective of this requirement is to procure up to six (6) well-sourced and consensus-based scientific analysis, reports, recommendations, and communication products on radiation safety to inform regulatory decision making and policy development for both radiological medical devices and radiation emitting electronic products. The scope of the activities supported by this contract requires collaboration across the Contractor, FDA, and other appropriate stakeholders. The Contractor shall produce medical radiation protection reports; two (2) reports in the base year, two (2) reports in option year 1, and two (2) reports in option year 2. The topics for option year 1 and option year 2 are to be determined by the FDA but will be in scope and related to radiation protection. The Contractor shall provide updated set of comprehensive, radiation protection recommendations to ensure their use reduces exposure to unnecessary and harmful radiation and to promote increased consistency and quality of patient care.
