Email proposals WILL NOT be accepted. A) The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) has a requirement for a Contractor to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other resources necessary to complete the Fleming Substation Stage 03 project. B) The principal components of work include: 1. Install one (1) government furnished pad-mounted 1 MVA 12.47kV/2.4kV transformer (KW5A) to serve as the primary service line for the Town of Fleming. 2. Furnish and install the following: a. Primary side fuse disconnect switch FW5A (521) for KW5A b. Secondary side fuse disconnect switch FW5B (523) for KW5A c. Secondary side fuse disconnect switch FW4B (325) for KW4A d. Secondary side disconnect switch XW3A (129) for KY1A 3. Provide concrete foundations for KW5A and WW5C. 4. Furnish and install: a. Steel beam b. Conduit support c. Equipment Bus Support d. Switch Operating Platform 5. Furnish and install rigid bus, jumpers, grounding, and conduit for a complete installation of the electrical components. C) The project location is near Fleming CO, and the anticipated period of performance is 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. D) FAR Part 14 is being utilized for this requirement. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable NAICS Code is 237130; Size Standard is $45.0M. E) The solicitation including specifications and drawings will be issued electronically on or around 17 July 2024 at the following sites: https://www.fedconnect.net and https://www.sam.gov. NOTE: The Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed.
