This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 892433325QFE000485 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is available for downloading on Contract Opportunities https://sam.gov and FedConnect https://www.fedconnect.net/Fedconnect/. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 333994. This RFQ is set-aside to small business. Only small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), located at 3610 Collins Ferry Road Morgantown, WV 26505 has a requirement for a High Temperature Furnace per the attached Specifications requirements. EVALUATION: Selection will be based on the vendor’s quote that is considered technically acceptable with the lowest firm-fixed price. The Government anticipates issuing a single award from this RFQ. To be considered for evaluation, vendors shall submit descriptive literature detailing features, technical capabilities. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this solicitation in meeting the attached Specifications requirements. Therefore, it is essential that vendors provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc., in order for the Government evaluation team to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposal as meeting technical acceptability.
