## Description

AMD01 - The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received as illustrated in attached “AMD01 Question and Answer – 842469473 PDF”. The quotations and due date remain unchaged. The request for quotation (RFQ) reamins unchanged. This requirement is for a software solution consisting of post-processor software licenses and support services, including implementation, installation, training, and support that will aid in end user growth of the implemented WFL CNC post processor millturn.

The software solution shall be completely compatible and have the ability to integrate with the existing WFL M120 millturn at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) (S/N 28517301). FRCSE is responsible for the maintenance, repair, overhaul, and technical services of aircraft, engines, and aeronautical components for the United States Navy. FRCSE utilizes a weipert frai linz (WFL) milturn to produce various aircraft components and structural parts for F/A-18A-D, H-60, P-8 P-3, and other aircraft.

The WFL milturn currently does not have a post processor which greatly suppresses the machine’s ability to produce complex aerospace parts. The post processor is the crucial link between the upstream computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software and the downstream machine. The post processor will integrate the programs from the CAM software into a language that can be understood and utilized by the downstream machine.
