## Description

*Amendment 001, 4/10/2024: Please see attached updated Amendment 001 which extends the RFQ through April 10, 2024, 12:00pm EDT* This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number 80TECH24Q0006 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-02, and NASA Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NFS), effective 10/18/2023. This RFQ is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code and Size Standards are 333994 and 500 employees, respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this acquisition.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration has a requirement for an inert gas furnace for high temperature mechanical testing of carbon and metal-carbide based composites is required. The furnace must fit inside a MTS Criterion Model C45.504 Wide test stand.

Quoters shall provide a quote to include conceptual design drawings, space required for secondary cabinets, utility requirements, and a delivery schedule for system installation and testing that meets the specifications provided in Attachment A: Statement of Work. Please refer to the RFQ package attached to this notice for complete information and quoting instructions.
