It has been determined that EUROPEAN SYNCHROTRON RADIATION FACILITY is the sole provider of Obtaining high speed X-ray videography while triggering an internal short circuit in numerous individual Li-ion cells while inside a Fractional Thermal Runaway Calorimeter (FTRC) for to get insight into the protection mechanism provided by plastic current collectors and into cell enclosure failure mechanisms. NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Johnson Space Center (JSC). The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541714 Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 5 p.m. Central Standard Time on 7/30/2024.
