NASA JSC WSTF intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the services from Lasco Services under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Lasco Services is the only responsible source as it uniquely holds decades of NASA JSC ARES?specific cleanroom engineering knowledge and proven contamination?control performance that cannot be duplicated without significant cost, delay, and technical risk to mission?critical curation operations. The Government intends to acquire a commercial product or service using FAR Part 12.
