This procurement will provide a follow-on contract with a period of performance of (5) years, from March 1, 2026, to February 28, 2031, and will keep the same Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract type as MARS IV, with the capability to issue Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and cost-no-fee (CNF) task orders. This follow-on procurement is necessary to allow for the continuation of services to avoid disruptions. The main goal of the MARS V contract is to provide NASA, and other U.S. Government agencies with critical capabilities necessary for the launch and processing of orbital and suborbital space hardware and for supporting UnManned Systems (UMS) flights as well as ground and sea surface vehicles from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s (GSFC) Wallops Flight Facility (WFF). This support also includes engineering studies, mission planning, launch site and payload processing, and other specialized services for WFF Research Range missions. It takes unique skills and abilities to support NASA missions and customers, while understanding the specialized assets and equipment deployed all over the world requiring specific training and certifications to operate. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 3:00PM EST on May 21, 2025.
