## Description

NASA has awarded a contract to Amentum Services, Inc. of Chantilly, Virginia, to provide the agency’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, California with support services for program, science, engineering, operations, and project management.

The contract, Fully Integrated Lifecycle Mission Support Services (FILMSS 2) will support biosciences flight development projects (including mission implementation, instrument development, and technology advancement efforts), collaborative science programs (e.g., astrobiology, virtual institutes), aeronautics research projects, and specialized technical and professional support for various Ames offices.

The period of performance will include a 60-day phase-in period, a two-year base period, with three separate one-year option periods. This is a hybrid contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) core management, a CPFF core technical and an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) component under which CPFF task orders can be issued. The potential total value of the contract is approximately $256 million.
