## Description

Walter Reed are required to explaining the “Unexplained Medical” symptoms and in particular pain are the most frequent reason patients seek medical attention in the United States for over an estimated 100 million Americans who suffer from chronic pain. The annual cost of chronic pain in the U.S. is estimated at $635 billion, including health care expenses, lost income, and lost productivity. These unexplained medical symptoms have increased the death rate from opioid abuse at alarming rates.

Biopsychosocial Training for Physicians can impact how and why a provider moves forward with a patient to better treat them increasing a better outcome for the patients and overall patient satisfaction[RTMC(1] . This requirement requests the approval of a Sole Source Contract to Dr. Harold Wain, in order to procure Patient Interviewing -Biopsychosocial Training.

Defense Health Agency (DHA) proposes to issue a Firm-Fixed-Priced (FFP) contract with an estimated dollar value of $800,250.00 and an anticipated Period of Performance (PoP) consisting of one 9-month Base and four 9-month option periods.
