## Description

PRE-AWARD SNYOPSIS OF SINGLE SOURCE UTILIZING SAP This pre-award synopsis is being issued in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(1). The 316th Contracting Squadron (316 CONS) intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to procure software for the Emergency Communications Center computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. The intended awardee is Medical Priority Consultants Inc. dba Priority Dispatch Corp, the only all-purpose and comprehensive Priority Dispatch systems provider company in the world.

**Single Source Justification:** The Contracting Officer has signed a Single Source Justification asserting that Priority Dispatch Corp is the only company that offers the Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) program/software required by 316 Civil Engineering Squadron (316 CES).

They are the only vendors capable of providing this product as market research concluded no other vendor can provide required EMD Program/software and are only capable of providing emergency call-taking software products that the Fire Department already has. Because Priority Dispatch Corp's software is the only Priority Dispatch System provider, competition could not be obtained.

The appropriate NAICS Code for this acquisition is 513210, Software Publishers, with a size standard of $47,000,000 Million.
