## Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC), Combat Feeding Division (CFD), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Allpax Products, LLC located at 453 Northpointe Ct. Covington, Louisiana 70433, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1).

The requirement for the maintenance and repair, and preventative training, on the Allpax 38 R&D Spray Retort system located at DEVCOM-SC in the Combat Feeding Division. This retort system is used for the test and evaluation of new shelf-stable food products for all military Services. This mission-critical thermo-processing equipment plays a key role in supporting multiple feeding platforms through research and development of new food prototypes.

The system has been malfunctioning for several months and urgently requires repair from the OEM. Additionally, preventative training is needed to ensure optimal utilization, operation and maintenance of the equipment to sustain its vital functionality. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811310 and the size standard is $12,500,000.00 dollars. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination not to compete this proposed action based on any responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to the Notice. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party.
