Tora Tora Tora is a reenactment of the bombing squad at Pearl Harbor. “Tora Tora Tora” will be providing a full reenactment of a WWII air-to-ground attach with pyrotechnics and their own announcer. The act will consist of eight replica Japanese air craft for the performance. The Tora announcer provides the historical narration. Music and sound effects are supplied by the contractor This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.103-1(b)(1). The procurement is for the Air Show performance and services. Commemorative Air Force is the only company that performs the Tora Tora Tora act. Only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the service that will satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, Homestead ARB seeks to issue a sole source firm fixed price contract to COMMEMORATIVE AIR FORCE for the Tora Tora Tora performance. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 711510 and the Small Business size standard is $9,000,000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This Notice of Intent is neither a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notice to the Contracting Officer by COB, 13 December 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
