NICHD has had an existing maintenance contract on this equipment since it moved into the space in 2016. The maintenance includes servicing the equipment which includes battery checks. These inspections are important as we have had cases where the batteries were nearing their end of life and began venting in 6710B resulting in a strong sulphuric odor putting our staff at risk.
