This effort is part of NIH’s broader modernization initiative to transition from legacy platforms to SharePoint Online and streamline Teams migrations, ensuring secure collaboration, compliance with federal IT modernization mandates, and improved support for remote and hybrid work. ShareGate is an integrated Microsoft 365 management solution that enables secure and seamless data migration, governance, reporting, and access control across cloud environments. It supports a broad range of migration scenarios—including SharePoint to Office 365, Google Drive to SharePoint, file shares to OneDrive, and tenant-to-tenant transfers.
