Background: The National Institute on Aging (NIA), Laboratory of Neurogenetics (LNG) requires the acquisition of an automated cell dissociation apparatus for single nuclei isolation from human and mouse brain tissues. Purpose and Objectives: The National Institute on Aging, Laboratory of Neurogenetics’ objective is to elucidate the pathological basis of neurodegenerative diseases, specifically amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease. The purpose of obtaining an automated cell dissociation apparatus is for single nuclei isolation from frozen human and mouse brain tissue with the goal of future single cell snRNA sequencing. Project requirements: Please see PURCHASE DESCRIPTION attached to this posting. Capability statement /information sought. Companies that believe they possess the capabilities to provide the required products should submit documentation of their ability to meet each of the project requirements to the Contracting Officer. The capability statement must specifically address each of the project requirements separately.
