Supported contractors include the DAIDS Simian Vaccine Evaluation Units (SVEUs) and their support contractors. These services are provided through this contract by investigator request to NIAID and NIAID staff approval. The incumbent contractor is Quality Biological, Inc.(HHSN272201800007C). Services provided under the current contract have included providing overlapping peptide sets for Simian Immuno-deficiency Virus/Simian Human Immuno-deficiency Virus (SIV/SHIV) and Human Immuno-deficiency Virus (HIV), polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies, SIV and SHIV challenge stocks, and storage and shipping of kits for proficiency testing/standardization for neutralization assays (TZM-bl neutralization assay).
