## Description

The following product features/characteristics are required for this requirement: The phosporimager equipment will be used for experiments examining the function of enzymes and structural proteins involved in cell behaviors which contribute to cancer progression. The following minimum product features/characteristics are required:

1. Phosphorimaging of samples containing 32P, 33P and 35S.

2. A dynamic reading range of 5 orders of magnitude 3. 16 bit read depth 4. Adjustable pixel size of 10 – 1000 ?m. 5. Computer controller uses windows 10 This equipment is replacing like equipment which has reached the end of its usefulness and lifecycle. The former system, the Storm experienced a catastrophic failure. The NIH NCI program has an immediate need to replace this equipment.

There are only two types of this equipment available to meet the needs of the Government- the Sapphire FL Phosphorimager and a Cytiva Typhoon. Both meet the needs of the government, however, the Sapphire FL Phosphorimager provides superior specifications at a lower cost to the government.

This equipment purchase is urgent as critical cancer research (studies on proteins involved in cancer progression), testing and studies have not been able to be performed, generating a testing backlog and delays in cancer research.
