Such disruption would adversely impact clinical operations and compromise the Government’s ability to meet its mission requirements for patient care. Due to the urgent and compelling nature of the requirement, and the need to avoid any lapse in critical laboratory services, the Government must proceed with a sole source acquisition. The selected contractor is the only responsible source capable of providing the required services within the necessary timeframe to prevent disruption.
