The purpose of this project is to remove (2) existing water storage tanks, install electrical control wire in conduit, and install equipment for water monitoring requirements. Project 17-N18 will replace the existing 60,000-gal tank with a new 135,000-gal bolted steel tank. After the new tank is brought online; the existing 60,000-gal tank will be removed from the site and the new tank will be enclosed by chain-link fence. Project 20-N65 will allow communication between the tank, tribal office building, and water treatment plant. The monitoring equipment will assist the tribe to meet requirements of the EPA -in order to comply with the surface water treatment rule. This project will be procured as a 100% set-aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) utilizing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The associated size standard for this procurement is $45 million.
