The contractor will support establishment and maintenance of an analytical database used to assess the epidemiology of CKD diagnosis, treatment, complications, and outcomes within the MHS. The effort includes epidemiologic analyses of CKD and end-stage kidney disease (ESKD), assessment of risk factors, evaluation of disease patterns among active-duty and non-active-duty populations, characterization of pediatric CKD, and investigation of rare causes of CKD. This contract was awarded on a sole-source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
