## Description

NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to The University of Washington Occupational Epidemiology and Health Outcomes Program. To conduct analyses to describe the distribution of workers' compensation claims related to mental health (MH) and behavioral health in the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries system. The study will include all workers insured through the WA L&I state fund.

Analyzed WC data will be focused on claims with reported injury/illness dates in calendar years 2017 to 2022, including both accepted/denied claims and diagnoses. The period of performance for this service is 9/30/24 to 9/30/25 and the service will be performed at the vendors’ establishment. Unique requirements are that the vendor must have access to the data and experience in analysis of this particular dataset.

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
