## Description

The Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) has identified a need to develop standardized radiation dosimetry guidelines for nonclinical models used by research institutions across the BARDA radiation research portfolio which are necessary for medical countermeasure (MCM) development. Standardized dosimetry guidelines that are harmonized across the portfolio will help ensure accurate and reproducible data.

BARDA seeks to rapidly launch this effort to allow for better data comparison between studies and institutions. BARDA is particularly interested in developing source-independent, standardized dosimetry methods to facilitate harmonization across current and future institutions that collaborate with BARDA on nonclinical models and medical countermeasure development.
