As indicated in the attached and approved J&A, per the NAVFAC P-307, Management of Weight Handling Equipment Manual: All work, repairs, and services that are required on NAVFACSW FED FIRE USN Fire Truck Aerial Ladder Truck Flysection Platform (# 17 N74-00135) are to be performed by an OEM certified/ authorized dealer. Additionally, per P-307, all load-controlling parts that require replacement, must be replaced with OEM parts. Use of non-OEM parts would be incompatible to the existing systems on the cranes, which could result in component and/or system failures.
