No funds have been authorized, appropriated for this effort. **Purpose and Objectives:** USDA, VS, NVSL FADDL has a requirement for reduce the potential for misplacement or loss of historic diagnostic and research samples as part of the Histopathology Core in the National Bio and Agro-defense Facility’s (NBAF) high containment, Biosafety Level-3 (BSL3). DREAMPATH DIAGNOSTICS AMERICAS CORP has been identified as the single source able to provide this equipment. This is a single source requirement that is proprietary to DREAMPATH DIAGNOSTICS AMERICAS CORP. It has been determined as the only one responsible source as determined in accordance with procedures prescribed in FAR 13.5 and the anticipated contract action is hereby publicized in accordance with FAR 5.101 and FAR 5.203. The purpose of this notification is to communicate the Governments intent to solicit and award a non-competitive purchase of this service. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. The NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The Product Service Code is 6640 Laboratory Equipment And Supplies. This non-competitive award is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b), as it has been deemed that only one source is available to meet this specific requirement.
