## Description

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT THE U.S. COAST GUARD (USCG), STATION CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT, ILWACO, WA - FY 2024 MAINTENANCE DREDGING AT THE U.S. COAST GUARD (USCG), STATION CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT, ILWACO FY 2024: In accordance with attached Specifications dated/approved February 29, 2024. (Subject to change at the discretion of the Government).

Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, power, and personnel to dredge and dispose of sediment from the mooring basin and boat lift areas at U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Station Cape Disappointment, located within Baker Bay in Ilwaco, Washington. Dredge approximately 15,000 cubic yards (cy) of sediment from the USCG Station Cape Disappointment boat basin by hydraulic or mechanical means to the indicated design depth of -10.0 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) plus 2 feet over depth allowance.

The dredged sediment shall be permanently disposed of using a bottom dump barge, scow, or hopper dredge, in the Baker Bay Flow Lane Disposal (BB-3) within the Columbia River in Clatsop County, Oregon. The Coast Guard has been authorized to dredge outside of the permitted in-water work window. All other requirements of the attached permits remain the same.

The contractor is expected to mobilize for pre-dredge Eelgrass and hydrographic Surveys as soon as possible and to produce a Dredge Operations Plan (DOP) within 30 days of award (to include the surveys). The contractor shall begin dredging as soon as a notice to proceed is received by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) following approval of the DOP, while implementing requirements and best practices identified in the attached permits.

Work water window is February 29, 2024 to June 01, 2024. ALL Dredging must be completed by June 1, 2024. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The USCG Station Cape Disappointment is located at 322 Coast Guard Road, Ilwaco, Washington 98624.
