## Description

THIS IS TO BE AWARDED SOLE SOURCE WORK ITEM 1: Provide Mechanical Remote Valve Operators 1. SCOPE 1.1 Intent. This work item describes the requirements for the Contractor to provide fully functional and satisfactorily operationally tested mechanical remote valve operators as specified in Table 1. Table 1: MTI ITEM DESCRIPTION NSN/PN QTY N **Deck Box: ¾” size w/10 turns, weld-in, cam-lock cover included BFG P/N: VCDB-1200-10 10 ea. N **90° Gear Box: ¾” size, bronze BFG P/N: VCG-3200 12 ea.

N **Consolidated Hinged Joint: ¾” size, manganese bronze housing, SST shafts BFG P/N VCK-1200 5 ea. N **U-Joint 1-¼” OD x ¾” bore, steel BFG P/N VCU-1142 55 ea. N **Valve Coupling Rising Handwheel, ¾” male BFG P/N: VCU-3200 8 ea. N **Valve Coupling Rising Stem, ¾” male BFG P/N: VCM-2200 2 ea. **New equipment that the contractor will provide for installation in place of existing equipment.

2. REFERENCES Coast Guard Drawings Coast Guard Drawing 175 WLM 505-002, Rev F, Mech Remote Valve Oprs A & D 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 General. The intent of this Work Item is for the contractor to provide fully functional mechanical remote valve operators listed in Table 1. See Figures 1 for typical images of the remote valve operators. 3.1.3 Protective measures. N/A 3.1.4 Interferences. N/A 3.2 Restore Functionality.

The Contractor must verify that all the mechanical remote valve operators, listed in Table 1, are fully functional in accordance with Coast Guard Drawing 175 WLM 505-002. 4. NOTES
