## Description

TECHNICAL SERVICES FOR INSPECTION AND CORRECTION OF Air Conditioning Unit USCGC ALDER Background. CGC ALDER has several refrigerant leaks and requires a replacement of defective parts and groom of the system 1. Scope. The Contractor shall provide all personnel including labor, materials, travel, parts, tools, test equipment, test fittings, supplies, consumables, and equipment to accomplish tasking.

The Contractor shall provide the services of a qualified Tech Rep, who is familiar with the 225 Cutters Air Condition system. Contractor shall also provide a certified marine chemist to ensure space is gas free to preform hot work.

2. Review with the ships force with the units’ operation and issues. • Conduct an initial inspection of both A/C units for obvious leaks, loose/defective parts, corrosion, etc. • Inspect and check the PLC settings and operation against the microprocessor program, correct as necessary. • Instruct and or train the ships’ crew and answer any questions regarding the system operation and troubleshooting. • Install new Vibration Isolators and refrigerant liquid line solenoid supplying all necessary parts • Provide marine chemist • Charge the circuit 2. Objective.

To Groom the Air Condition System and Program the Control Panels through the replacement of defective parts. 3. Tasks. The contractor shall provide labor and services to repair leaks, groom the air condition systems and program control panels.

**4. Delivery:** All work will be completed onboard CGC ALDER 5. Government furnished property. N/A. 6. Security Requirement. Base access is required. Entry to Sector San Francisco requires Real ID and background checks completed by Sector San Franisco Command Security Officer (CSO). A CG representative from the cutter will sponsor and escort vendor to the cutter. 7. Place of performance- 1 Yerba Buena Island, San Francisco, CA 94130. 8.
